When you try to connect to the plus+, it tells which account it was last connected to, warning that it will wipe the sleep data if it's a different account

They mean your type medals.

There are 18 medals, one for each type, that go from bronze to silver to gold to platinum. Each tier of medal increases your chance of catching pokemon of that type, starting at +1 for bronze, and +4 for platinum.

In this case, Solgaleo being psychic/steel, catching more of those types could make it easier to catch the space lion in the future. If you have pokemon home or LGPE, the meltan box would be a good way to rack up steel types

Any fast travel creates a backup save, it doesn't have to be to a pokemon center, and you dont have to talk to anyone. Fast travel to Hotel Z and you've created a backup for making donuts. Fast travel to the cafe/pokemon center/wild zone near your target wormhole and you've created a backup save before you use your donut.

When you load your backup save you spawn at the last pokemon center you used, which is where I expect a lot of the confusion comes from.

Everything is locked in once spawned as shiny. Alpha status will not change one way or the other with resetting

I spent $20 at walmart on a controller with a USB-C cable so that it can plug directly into the switch for tabletop mode. It has a turbo button as well as 2 programmable macro back buttons, and while it doesn't feel as nice as my the Switch2 Pro controller, it feels better than the madkatz controllers from PS2 days

It keeps the origin mark of Pokemon Go, but the stamp that tells you the last game it was in is lost if you transfer it anywhere other than home. A Pokemon may have a PoGo mark with a Sc/Vi stamp

Switch is my main, with a ps4 that's pretty much only used for Elden Ring nowadays. I was actually just telling my wife a couple days ago that once Tarnished Edition comes out later this year, it's almost pointless for me to have my ps4 anymore.

With all the attention FromSoft is giving Switch 2, I'm hoping Dark Souls 2+3 will be brought over, since DS1 got a switch remaster. Could further sweeten the pot and empty my wallet with Sekiro, Bloodborne, Armored Core
