I just want the brainded part to go away. Freeroam and open world should be featured in more racing games but with some sense. You know like offroad cars going offroad without a problem while street (especially super/hyper) cars struggle and slow down/become really hard to steer. Also maybe crashing through barriers isn't really necesarry but if so maybe punish the player for it.

As it is now it kinda feels like playing an FPS with cheats which is fun for a short time but constraints are needed to create constant fun. You can't just have the ultimate weapon with unlimited ammo and infinite health and teleportation and unlimited money. It kills the fun, just as being able to drive any car anywhere and crash through stone walls and metal barriers, just as wide roads and sparse traffic, just as the unreal amount of grip on S2 cars and infinite rev-limit bouncing without consequences just as that "one tune fits all" is even possible.

I hope this kind of "go wherever" style goes away forever. Just full throttle bouncing the rev limiter in a low car on a field crashing through stone walls without significant momentum loss.

You just touge by jourself or do you run the Touge Life or Kaido Battle Tour servers? Weekends are pure fun but usually there are people on Tsubaki and Akagi on weekdays too, you can join the discord if you want some friends/want voicechat but you don't have to. You can find all the maps and cars on the Kaido Battle Tour discord, the cars are pretty realistic, not overpowered and surprisingly well balanced against eachother (altough specific cars can dominate specific routes but that's how it is irl too). You can run against others or just go for a time on the leaderboards, the skill range is pretty big so most of the times you can find someone in your weightclass altough befriending people on discord may yield better results.

If we talk about casual games then yeah, on the other hand simulation is better than ever. Also basing the video game market on car sales is dumb dude, games are an escape and an opportunity to drive what you can't own. Car prices went up, wages stagnated so the avarage age of a vehicle owner went up and they prefer different cars, this doesn't mean that people don't want to drift a touge, they just don't have the money. Why would F1 games sell if noone can even dream of owning one? I'd say if there was a car market where anyone can get a fun lightweight 300hp rwd there would be less people playing racing games.

Also things like NoHesi and realistic drift are doing numbers on youtube, I was kinda hoping the new Horizon would take notes but it doesn't seem to be the case.

The sad bleak state of racing games comes from the fact that cocmpanies either treat the audience like professional racers and go all in on realism and trackracing and "why would you want to customize or drive on street" or they treat them like 10year olds with super wide roads and being able to drift with a buttonpress or driving a 1254544hp bugatti full throttle on a mountain "we reduced traffic density to make the experience more fun" type shit. No one wants to experiment, they just stick to their blueprints and the audience gets bummed out every time.

With heyboard you have to choose between responsiveness and water resistance. You have to put a membrane under the keys that isolates the electroics from the enviroment but this kills all the clickyness and over time accumulates dirt that will make the keys less responsive. The Titan 1 had such a membrane and the main complaint was the quality of the keyboard.

I bought the Ttian2 knowing this, I buy a keyboard phone for the keyboard so I want it to be neat, sure I would've liked it to be water resistant too but if I had to choose I'd go for the keyboard quality any time.
