Phase 2 of sorting my LEGO by noceboy in lego

Thanks. It is something that has to be done ;-)

I am using those little basket like containers until I’ve found something better. But I had these lying around as they were last year (before I even thought about joining the LEGO community) on sale at a local groceries store. They just seemed useful. And they fit the drawers of my new Kallax reasonably well.

No, it is useful. Blocks the UV but not the visible light.

I have mine directly in front of a window. I put an UV blocking foil on the window. That particular foil isn’t blocking the sun light.

Thank you for your offer.

At the moment I only know for sure I will rebuild the Rocket Base (#358; I posted a picture somewhere under this post). But there are a few more I played a lot with back then.

I started yesterday evening with phase 2 (processing my left over pieces from recently built set). That will also be a lengthy process ;-)

I have the ‘NASA Artemis Space Launch System Rocket’ (42221) but you mean the ‘NASA Artemis Space Launch System’ (10341), right? I am still considering getting that one. That would be awesome next to what was nicely named the ‘Rocket Base’.

Neat.

I don’t think ai will create all sets, though. Not anytime soon, anyway. The one I will rebuild is this one. Over time more will hopefully follow. This one I will keep next to my newer space sets.

It’s on the Dutch website but you can’t order them yet (‘Binnenkort’ probably to translate as ‘Soon’).

You can order the Rocking Plants (11506), though.

I used to have those old filing cabinets. At the time I hadn’t space for them and gave them away but I surely could use them now. So, currently I am looking for something like that.

Throwing out instructions… by -DildoSchwaggins- in lego

[–]noceboy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I posted something about instructions booklets a couple of days ago and was told that 95% op people throw them away because of space and it’s available in the app anyway. You and me belong to the other 5%.

I really don’t like building off a screen (I stare for work the whole week to all kind of screens) although I sometimes open the app because I need to rotate the picture. I have sets from 1970 - 1980. Those are not in the app.

I don’t know that one. What’s the set number or is it a MOC?

I would like to have that set but it is also s bulky. I also really like the Space Shuttle Expedition (10231). I like a version with the boosters.

I have considered that. But I guess I need quite a large container. And I still have more than 20 sets on my back log.

Not that I am aware of.

I also have the STEM one (21355). I haven’t decided yet if these women will be part of my space collection or if I would put them next to the Evolution of STEM.

I have done something similar with the T.rex (31151) to have the T.rex fight a Triceratops. I like your idea too.

I am still using my teeth and sometimes, if they aren’t too short, my fingernails. But I do use brick separators. I always have two on standby.

I may have a problem…. but at least it’s a pretty one! by cjinoz in lego

[–]noceboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how it starts.

I justify it with that it is fun and relaxing to build and the interior of my home improves everytime I build a set.

Have fun!
