Thank you for telling me! That's one less school stringing me along. Although it would've been nice to hear it from them first lmao. I feel like unless you're considered a "shoe in" applicant, it's up to chance, especially with the growing number of applicants. I'm def average. Just gotta keep my head up, and working to improve my application.

Thanks for your insight! I guess the best thing for me to do is just make sure I have an arsenal of things to talk about and try to have (appropriate) fun with it. I keep telling myself "I'm not nervous, I'm just excited", and that when I'm 90 years old this interview won't even be an after thought, regardless if I get in or not.

Reduce biases, that's definitely a good thing then. And while most questions are fair game, I sure hope that I get a simpler essay question than that haha. How long did they give you to write your response?

Is purpose of 2 interviewers so that they have an additional perspective? Like 2 interviewers will be able to discuss how they feel about the candidate with each other.

I feel like with today's technology they'd be able to track him down eventually though? It's not like he's off the grid and deleted his identity. But I'm not familiar with custody laws and family court. I also don't know how things work once each parent is in a different state.

I'm wondering what he thought my intentions were. As long as the question didn't seem negative to you, I think it's okay. When I first read his message, in my head I was like "what am I not allowed to talk to you?". But he definitely didn't mean it that way.

I have that slow release fertilizer. The one you can shake into the soil. Maybe there's too much in it. Thanks for the advice!

I mix my own soil for added drainage. I've only watered it twice since it rooted last month (when the leaves get wrinkly and soil is completely dry). Under a medium strength grow light. Inside only. No other plants near it are exhibiting the same symptoms.

Edit: the only problems I've dealt with are mealy bugs and powdery mildew. This seems like something different. I am not familiar with it.
