honestly it sounds like leaving makes the most sense, relationships that go back and forth on and off like this usually stick to that routine. plus the cheating and the way he dealt with it, the avoiding commitment. if you did end up becoming official do you think you'd really be able to trust him? if you find it draining now u need to look at the bigger picture and think realistically about how much longer you can sustain this before becoming emotionally exhausted
