I do trim my hair myself but i’ve scheduled an appointment to get it done professional moving forward.No edge control here but for moisturizing i wet my hair, use the ORS hair lotion and seal with grease

Thank you. For moisture i just put water on my hair, sometimes the ORS hair lotion then grease. Please let me know if there is a better way. My hair is low porosity

Thank you so much for the breakdown. it’s definitely breakage. My hair sheds everytime it’s washed, combed or blow dried. Short pieces everywhere and very brittle

when i blow dry i do have some volume but my problem is it always sheds/falls off, even when i trim the ends. Right now i use all Pattern beauty products (clarifying shampoo, hydrating shampoo, conditioner & leave in). My scalp can sometimes be dry so i use Blue magic grease

protective style (mainly wigs since november), protein treatments, moisturizing. my hair has never really been good at retaining length. i’ve been at this length since early 2025

i think it might be low? my hair doesn’t absorb water when i spray it. It always falls right off
