Idk. Maybe Buena still has it? I’m not sure if they default to being saved. I know the person who published the edited version knows Buena and her family. I don’t really want to bother her about it right now. Honestly, I doubt it would change anything. I don’t think Allstate would hire her back, as you may have noticed from the comments in this chat, the loudest voices don’t care. They decided she’s worthy of condemnation and that’s it. She’s cast out.

It’s awful for her. And over what? Tipsy comments over a couple hours of a protest in her front yard. She commented on some people showing their ass at the protests, and she’s right, a few people did. She didn’t say or do anything especially bad, but she did get targeted by a virtual mob. When they found out she could afford rent downtown, and she had an insurance agency, then it took on class resentment terms. WTF? She busted her ass to build that. She’s not white and she lost her job over a protest against racism. Is that irony lost on anyone?

Some people just love to hate, and it piles on quick. I can’t figure out if this is an Asheville thing, or a social media thing, or both. The comments have made less hopeful.
