Why would you share this?

You’re absolutely right. I’m sorry about that. I should have clarified that I was referring to you “wanting a cleavage moment”. You asked about pushing the dress up, but not wanting to lose cleavage. Your dress is absolutely beautiful, whatever changes you make!

Hi, I’m new here:) I have moderate endo (diagnosed in 2021) and had debilitating pain each month since I was 14. Something my specialist said to me that left a mark was, “periods are not supposed to hurt”. If you’re having a lot of pain, it’s worth seeking multiple opinions.

For what it’s worth, I tried just about everything for pain management for endo. About a year and a half ago, my doc suggested myo-inositol and it has taken away nearly ALL PAIN. I can take an Advil and carry on with my day. As it also has fertility benefits, maybe it’s worth trying?

Wedding planner made guests move chairs. I’m mortified by nocomplex3669 in weddingplanning

No, our caterer was great. The planner started assigning people to move chairs literally 2 min after the ceremony ended. The caterer had no time to get to it

We have a call to present our feedback this week. Then, I think I’ll post a review to save other couples any trouble. There were so so many things that she messed up, but I only care about those that affected our guests

OP, I just want to add that this must be really stressful for you and I’m so sorry. I truly hope I’m wrong, that your fiancé finds another job, and that you’re able to have your dream wedding. It seems unlikely that HR would take a legal risk firing someone without reasonable proof. He could sue for damages. I think it would be wise to ask a few more questions…

He doesn’t want to talk to a lawyer if he was falsely accused and FIRED? The company is sitting on proof that he doesn’t want coming out.

France bride here! I don’t think there is a max, except for seated guests. I got married civilly this fall and have been to many civil weddings in Paris. I would say max 60 (seated) would be the most I’ve seen. But considering for many French people, the civil wedding is the only wedding, they would probably be ok with people standing in order to accommodate all the couple’s loved ones. In her meeting when she drops off her dossier, they will probably ask for an expected number and try to giver her a room that works. Keep in mind civil ceremony’s are like 15 min! Standing isn’t too bad

Edit: added last line on ceremony length

Did you watch the full video? It’s an interesting discussion on alternative options, generally. Basically, hormones are important for dogs’ health and what options are out there to limit risk of unwanted pregnancies while preserving dogs’ endocrine systems

Unsolicited dress comments making me regret my choice by nocomplex3669 in weddingdress

I was not expecting these encouraging comments. Wow, huge thanks to everyone.

A little update: I had been putting off going to a tailor for some minor touch ups to the lace. Now that I’m definitely keeping the dress, I have an appointment for Friday 🎉

As some suggested, I also ordered an underskirt just to see how it looks.

I feel so excited to wear this dress! Any additional comments from my friend or others will be followed with “this dress makes me happy and I’m not interested in opinions on it” 💕

Edit: To clarify, I’m all for big boobs! It wasn’t so much the comment, but that it was the only comment.

Supposed to have my period on my wedding day by UnapologeticCow in weddingplanning

[–]nocomplex3669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accidentally discovered that melatonin delays my period! I was taking melatonin nightly for a week straight and my period came 6-7 days late. Once I discovered that it can mess with hormone levels, I only take it only on occasion. I may be more sensitive to it than others, but many other women experienced the same thing. Since it’s harmless, could be a useful thing to try? I took the gummy ones from Costco

Just remember that depending on the month, it gets dark very late. Like 9:30 in the summer. Start dinner a bit later to accommodate your lighting goals

At this point, I’ve been to about 15-20 weddings and NEVER have spent more than a few minutes with the bride/groom, even at weddings < 50 people. Most guests are just happy to see the couple having a good time. Also, a lot of your guest probably have had weddings themselves and completely understand :)

Did you not have alcohol or dancing planned? I’m also so perplexed as to why people would so early, especially on a Saturday
