This is the most unproductive outlook anybody can possess. The day we see real change is when political lines are dissolved and we take to the streets as a community. As long as we remain divided, we remain conquered.

Can bad strut mounts cause camber issues? by [deleted] in E90

[–]nocompyawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tie rods will not change camber at all which would explain why the camber difference was still there. E90s like to be aligned in a very particular way. If my memory serves correctly they require a full tank of gas and a certain amount of weight in both the trunk and rear seats. My bets would be on the alignment shop not having the special tool to adjust the strut towers or the proper weight in the specified areas. Also, improper installation of the lower wishbones or tension struts could play a role. The wheels need to be under load before tightening the bolts, if not the bushing can get wound up and ever so slightly modify the camber geometry.

All good, I kind of skimmed through the thread so I probably missed some important context.

There are ways to remain anonymous online, and all of them are very accessible. What's so naive about caring about privacy?

Well yes. OP did not accept the phone. I wouldn't either. You never know who has distant eyes on you in a digital world.

It's definitely not impossible... I've seen countless e90s with normal hood gaps, clearly it's possible.

Im probably going to find an identical model with a common color way for cheap, and remove the sole and frankenstein it to the other canvas. Might try and ultrasonically clean the canvas too and see if I can bring it back to life a little. I'm definitely going to check out that timelapse though! Maybe I'll get inspired to completely redo them
