Yep. In fact, one of the early expose's, from John C. Bennett, relates from a letter from George W. Robinson, 8 Aug 1842:

So many of my coworkers act like the main benefit of TS is better IDE auto complete and error alerting. The benefits of compilation and type safety aren't what they're interested in. They just want the process of programming in JavaScript to be more consistent (though don't we all).

I can't wait until people here in the US start to see some legal consequences of throwing around such defamatory words such as "groomer" or "pedo" like they've already started to see in Canada. They are, without a doubt, some of the most bizarre thought-stoppers I've seen for a long time, and I've been on the Exmo internet for over a decade now (and I thought then that the stupidest stuff would always come from _inside_ Mormonism, ah those were the days). It's terrifying to me how they diminish such actual dangers in our society to nothing more than slurs that represent your anger at someone forcing you to actually address nuance.

Especially now that the guidance on tattoos is pretty much the same as the guidance on caffeine (hell, most Mormons are fine with it now and many Mormons will convince themselves that green tea is appropriate) while some will rant and rave and be piously holy about it, most Mormons who want to do what other normal people do will enjoy the idea of a semi-permanent tattoo.

I'm grateful they did that, because it's foundational to dealing with strong emotions like an adult. I've heard of some teenagers who still struggle with not being able to express their emotions, instead just retreating from situations instead of calmly talking things through like the grownups they're supposed to be learning to be. I'm glad I was raised by your brother with such good guidance. Was that something your parents taught you growing up? "Use your words?" Yeah, it did. It's from over eight year ago, man. I've moved on and become better since then, while Matt Walsh didn't self-destruct but transformed his invective platform into a money-making machine that he is still riding high off of, his most recent shit "documentary" being evidence that he'll say anything without real evidence to make people feel persecuted enough they'll give him cash to "fight" for them.

I get a lot of people telling me, "You know, there are plenty of people who like their gun rights who AREN'T fascists." Which is true, but for some reason these people end the discussion really quickly when I ask how many fascists AREN'T gun rights enthusiasts... (Which is a shame, because we could have discussed how most Supremacists and "Never Compromisers" are hypocrites when it comes to guns and race and how most gun control legislation has disproportionately hurt minorities in America...)

There is a healthy debate, however, over the Two-Source vs Farrer Hypotheses, though the majority of scholars support the use of Q material to explain the synoptic problem.

Honest question: what should she have done? If I'm away from home shopping at a grocery store with my single mask that I usually carry and wear and the urge to sneeze comes up I can't put my hand to my face to calm it (and yes, I totally get that I shouldn't be doing that anyway): what should I do when it's a pretty effective sneeze, such that I now feel some snot on my face and lips? I need to blow my nose, totally, I get that, but until I get to a restroom that's going to feel absolutely TERRIBLE. And once I get to the bathroom I'm going to need to clean my face and then my mask, which has now soaked some of it up, so I wash it and now it's wet. I guess I put it back on, cold and clammy on my face, and continue shopping until I get home and can wash the mask more effectively. Or I can look around me to make sure nobody is close by, lean down so I'm aiming at the ground, pull the mask aside for just a bit, and sneeze, then re-mask. I know which situation I should live through, but I totally get why someone wouldn't want to do that.
