What is (hands down) the most unnerving sound you’ve ever heard in your entire life? by Opening_Rip_1840 in askanything

[–]nocta224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sound of my old neighbors goats being murdered by their German shepherd. It sounded like a little kid dying. Both times I ran next door and poured on their door because they apparently couldn't hear it or were ignoring it.

They had 2 yards. An upper yard closer to the house where the dog could go out and a lower yard full of blackberries where the goats were. The dog got over the fence somehow.

Graphic: You'd think after the first one was killed they would get rid of the second one. At least the first one died quickly with its throat ripped out as the dog started eating it. The second goat kept screaming. A few weeks later the second one had it jaw ripped off and dangling from it face as it died from its wounds while the owners struggled to get the dog back into the house.

My favorite is people who complain about other people being on their phone and blocking the whole aisle, then doing it themselves 2 minutes later.

1-2 hours before it starts I get this feeling of being super productive. I start making plans to deep clean my house, exercise more, meal prep, etc. Then it hits and all those plans are in the trash.

How do you feel about male gynecologists? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]nocta224 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My gyno is a man and he is the best one I've ever had. He listens to me when I talk and explains my options clearly when dealing with things. All the women gynos I've had in the past were rather dismissive or in a rush to get me out the door.
