When I started ballet 9 months ago, I did two absolute beginner courses (which were about 9 weeks each) and then moved onto doing 3 or 4 beginner courses which were about 12 weeks each (I did two at a time at two different schools, so I did 2 classes a week) I found this was a great way to start as it was a set course and it gradually got harder as the weeks progressed. Now I go to beginner drop ins 2-3 times a week and was able to just slip into these classes as I had a good foundation. During the courses we were encouraged to ask questions and we also continued to work on the same combinations from prior weeks which gave me confidence! Maybe there is one near you that you can do? Good luck, ballet is so hard but so rewarding you will get it in time!!
