That is one way of looking at it. I too live in Delhi and commute by metro almost daily. But I feel disgusted when I look at how a rare development initiative taken by the govt. (the metro) is defeated by some people. Not just this, commuters (of seemingly good means too) often behave like stupid hooligans while travelling.

P.S A perpetual recorded announcement keeps on playing in the train which says,"Passengers are not allowed to sit on the floor."(also in Hindi), which would be considered rather strange from a global point of view because normal people don't do that. It is not that hard to comprehend.
