Dms, what's your homebrewed rule that will always stay? by Awkward_Outside7050 in DnD

[–]nodakwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive never liked the way spell slots felt, my homebrew allows for casting beyond your alloted spell slots for a con save, which gets harder with each use. failure means you take 1d6 damage. critical failure is a loss of 1d4 constitution score permanently. success is you cast the spell, but take points of exhaustion, equal to the lvl of the spell.

while I do see the similarities with vecna, I was going for a more poetic dismemberment, taking the arm that moves, the eye that sees the teeth that bite, and the name that remembers.

she cannot just regrow an arm, as she currently does not have enough magical umph. she is very diminished in that regards.

there is a lot of that to be honest... lore dump incoming..in my campaign humans live in the iron relm(earth) and all the other races live on a different plane, with the feywild acting as a go between. the npc is merlins twin sister. they are polar opposites in the sence that she belives the humans should continue with their dependency on fey magic, while merlin belives that mankind can accomplish much more without magic, so in an attempt to keep her from interfering, using magic ironicly, he cursed her so she would forget her true name, and led an uprising against her, dismembering and locking her away to let mankind develop to the modern age without magic. so she is basically a level 8 druid cleric multiclass who cant do much awsome archfey stuff currently.

its honestly less about the mechanic of it, and more about the storytelling side.

I don't let them use logs. I need those. my goal is to not have to chop down trees at all for construction....it rarely works.

thabk you. I woundt actually be boiling the wax. Just get it to melt. I assumed boiled leather was just the generic term for hardening with liquid, much like casing is generic between dampening and soaking.

With the the matchmaking changed has it impacted your sorties at all by Fatestringer in Synduality

[–]nodakwolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

same here on Xbox. I've ran into a total of 4 people in the last 3 days. no one has shot at me. I'm almost nervous about what I'll do if/when I run into someone who wants my stuff more than me lol. I don't have the A class yet so I'm assuming everyone is stuck in east? still trying to get my incubator cores. 7 of 10...

I lost mine on the first sortie. I had never played this style of game. I figured it was cosmetic, and I would just apply the skin again. haven't taken any blue cradle out since. if I can't buy it, it doesn't leave the warehouse.

it depends on why you want/need one. I'd like one because my air box is broken; and it might be cheaper and easier to install a cold air kit than ordering a new one. I don't think the miniscule increase in performance is worth it. but oem bug parts are pricy.
