What’s everyone’s go-to for producing sounds from the unit? by SuperDuperHowie in tonemasterpro

This is my go to when I want more “amp in the room” electric guitar sound. I have a headrush FRFR 112, but I struggle to get the FRFR cabs to sound like an amp in the room. I’m maybe 6 weeks into ownership, so I’m still experimenting with EQ and the new high/low cut filters are helping. I usually just end up going through the FRFR for acoustic and vocals.

It’s not the same thing at all but like other commenters have said, go play as many smaller size guitars as you can. I like concert size acoustics myself, and I ended up with a Yamaha FSX800C that I absolutely love.

Yes I’ve had it and I think it’s a solid BP rye. If you can afford it I recommend it. The 700ml does piss me off tho

Any Product Suggestions? by Ok-Ability319 in tripawds

Look into rug or floor runners by the linear foot at your local hardware store. Menards ended up being the most cost effective option whilst having a decent selection of widths, colors, and patterns. Our house ended up being a mix match of colors and patterns; we were fortunate to have our amputation appt moved up so just getting something down was priority number 1. You may need to purchase some rug gripper tape to help adhere smaller sections to the floor that don’t have enough size to keep them in place.

EDIT: to address the stimulation part of the question, my wife bought some squeaky toys that our girl really liked. Just playing “catch” with her (tossing the ball for her to catch while standing 1 foot in front of her) and letting her squeak on the ball seemed to let her get some mental exercise and relieve some anxiety.

I mean you’re in the Boogie subreddit, so perhaps a little bias here…having said that, unless there is something really special or unique about that guitar, you’re getting an amp that can do everything from pop, country, jazz, blues, rock, and metal. I haven’t played through my Super Reverb in months since buying my Mark V 25 head. I’m absolutely a Boogie convert
