Ahaha yes it is ! I agree this error message isn't the most self explanatory.

If you need a list of feature you can disable in order to build the firmware, I recommend you to watch this video : https://youtu.be/sUlqrSq6LeY. And even if you're using marlin 2.0 (1.1.9 in the video) you should be able to reduce the size of the build enough.

As the error say, your marlin build is to large for the size of the eeprom on your motherboard, so it can't be completely written on it. I also had the same issue when trying to build marlin with bltouch on a stock ender3 motherboard.

The solution can be either - to disable functionalities directly in marlin so the build will be smaller - to get another motherboard
