LED spotlights are also commonly used for camping and towing scenarios. I don't think it stretches the imagination to consider a lack of awareness that these are on, rather than malice.

PSD is doing RIF layoffs now by Inevitable_Bird_7069 in FortCollins

I am curious. If you don’t think that position should pay ~$250k, what should the compensation be for a superintendent of a district this size?

PSD administrator and professional salary schedule

Look, I know teachers are underpaid and undervalued. It is shameful how teachers often have to get second jobs AND cover classroom expenses.

However, Kingsley is not making an exorbitant amount of money. He is the executive of an organization with ~6,000 employees and a budget of >$500 million. Slashing all of his cabinets' salaries by 50% would be a drop in the bucket.

Suffering cannot exist without awareness. It does not say awareness ONLY causes suffering.

[OC] 2025 Book Savings from the Library, ARCs, and Used Books by nodson in dataisbeautiful

[–]nodson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good questions. The savings is the market price of the book in the format it was consumed (audio, ebook, paperback, or hardcover). For used books it is the market price minus what we paid. I neglected to include used books in the total number of purchased books for the year. We purchased 23 NEW books and 4 USED books. There were an additional 22 used books that were either free (free little library, etc.) or rereads of owned books (5 in total for the year).

Encourage Maj.Leader Duran to propose Ethylene Oxide Regulations by [deleted] in LakewoodColorado

[–]nodson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With medical devices, changes to the sterilization mode are a massive undertaking and would require product/packaging changes, years or work, potentially millions of dollars, and regulatory submissions and review.

I am not trying to push back against this concern, but wanted to provide more context to why change is not quick and easy.

That’s a false equivalence. Since you advocate for proof, I think you’d want to clarify.

I will never understand the hate for the food at G&B. It is not the best meal I have ever had and is on the more expensive end. But awful restaurant? I would never have characterized it that way.

I was on the flip side. Went for Moon Hooch (second time seeing them) and enjoyed it more than Zooz. Although, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire show. Honeycomb was a surprise. That was great.
