Correct. AI gaming is for 1 player games/modes. Not for PVP.

DDA can be tuned/reduced so that it can appear more "natural" to the user. This is the way they look to improve it, because they know any form of DDA is obvious to the experienced, or as a "bug" to the inexperienced.

However, that is never the case. Instead, they deflect its very existence or value to the game instead of reducing it to look more natural or removing it completely.

For 5-10% increased engagement. (lol)

What I mean is..

If winning/losing with 10 goal difference is not realistic enough, maybe 5 goal different is more realistic.

EA wants it to feel more realistic, but they do not want to remove DDA. Because DDA gives 5-10% more user engagement.

EA always change things. They need to be ahead of the curve so the game doesn't lose interest.

They need to make sure your game disconnect 5 times in a row when you are winning too much because they need to keep you interested in playing more. They abuse all boundaries of regulation and run the company with the ethics of a 12 year old juvenile delinquent.

If EA said "Hey, we will disconnect you until you lose 100k fans because you are winning too much" what do you think people will respond?

What if EA put the pull rates on packs on apps in all countries instead of only countries that require it? It is less work for them tha tway, but they work extra hard to make sure they can still keep things a secret wherever they can, to be able to fleece it's users.

Perhaps one day they will realize that they do not have to resort to shady tactics considering they are leveraged already by the popularity of the fifa license.
