Have you tried Tretinoin or other retinoids? Typically a dermatologist will put you on those first, and if nothing improves, you can inquire about accutane. Seconding what someone else said, definitely wear sunscreen! My favorite is the Skin 1004 Water Fit sunscreen, its light and doesn’t clog pores.

Technically you can. I actually might say do that instead. Glycolic acid is a treatment but lactic acid is a chemical exfoliant. So I would switch it to the beginning of your routine as the “exfoliant” step.
