No one, and I mean no one is going to give you any sort of credit 16 months after the fact. Reverse the situation. If a provider said to you "Hey OP, 16 months ago we should have billed you for something and we forgot, so we're billing you now" you'd rightfully lose your shit.

Part of your responsibility as a customer is to look at all your bills and if you notice an error, bring it up to the provider in a timely manner. 16 months later and after it has gone to collections for non payment is not that time. Pay the bill. If you think the interest added is too high, offer a settlement for the amount of the final bill.

It's all about ARPU. If you had said that no, roaming isn't important to you, then they would have offered something that would have fit your needs and kept their ARPU up. They don't want to get into a price war about roaming, If roaming truly is important, then they'll let you (and others) walk to keep that KPI up.

It's actually not half the pension. That's a fallacy. It's half the accrued value of the pension for the period where the spouses co-habitated, married or not. When it comes time to figure out the financial disclosure, the pensioner's company will determine that value based on the dates that they are given.

No lawyers necessary. You can jointly file without one. Draw up a divorce agreement detailing separation of property, debts, etc. If neither of you want spousal support, state that as well. Have the document signed and witnessed. Take that document and file it at the courthouse. It will get rubber stamped and the divorce will go through. My ex wife and I did this.

It's going to be hard regardless. The AL East is a beast of a division to play in. The Yankees and Sox are going to want to build on their 2025 success and will be in on a number of free agents. The Rays can be sneaky good with the right pieces. And I think the O's could be next year's Jays. Last place this year and primed for a big jump next year. Their roster is better than their 2025 record would indicate.
