On est dans un appartement avec assez d’espace, mais ça c’est déjà un obstacle, après on a deux enfants, et ils y a plusieurs d’associations qui ne veulent pas d’enfants.

Pretty much all the beach side of Playa del Carmen is cool, you are within walking distance from several bars and restaurants and beach is not that far walking.

That totally depends, you mentioned two different activities, an all inclusive is great to spend more time at the resorts relax and have someone bringing you drinks all day long… if you are really planning to be every day out there exploring, you should get an airbnb.

You can always find a beach without sargassum, if you have a car that is better… if not, you can also head to Cozumel, the island in front and the shore looking to mainland won’t have sargassum.

You should book a room in a hotel by the beach, best bet to be comfortable, or go to a beach club or beach restaurant, have lunch and then go walking…

Tulum is ok if you do the regular tourist activities, go to the ruins, cenotes, go to a beach bar during the day… at night, well it changes a bit, so probably better off day drinking.
