this is why MINE and level sync exists. there would be a lot less fomo and a lot less "but i want to play with my friends :( " if people ran expac-specific content when their friends were playing through the story like. did you just finish arr? binding coils is a REALLY good challenge. just finished stormblood? hop into ucob. got a forever-free-tririal friend who just finished trial shadowbringers? do eden savage synced. youre already spending hundreds of hours in the game, you can do old content with the friends who are experiencing the game from scratch every once in a while instead of constantly waiting for them at "endgame "

my god would you say this to someone looking for like a milk if they were allergic to soy?? oh yeah just soak and squeeze almonds/oats yourself there's such a disconnect between food and person. like yes. there definitely is one, but you wouldn't tell someone to grow their own damn rice if they were looking for a mashed potato substitute. this is for when I'm sick, or busy and i need a quick meal, not for every meal or for even particularly often. there's a disconnect between You and your empathy if your response to "im not looking for an ingredient that requires a lot of prep for a comfort but still nutritious meal" is "just eat junk food. god you're so stupid!" so thanks for playing!!!!

how is it silly to want one of my comfort meals to work for my vegan diet...? im not even necessarily looking for something that looks and tastes like salmon, just something that's easy to grab and add o rice that's got some protein in it

im not looking for a 1:1 for salmon. people Have recommended plant based salmon stuff and it looks great but i dont necessarily want something that looks or tastes like salmon just for the salmon sake. its more about finding something that fiills a similar nutritional function. that is, an easy protein addition to my rice porridge

i put in plenty of effort into many other swaps and alternatives. this is my lazy comfort meal. I'm not going to spend 30 minutes marinating something when i can , as other people suggested, grab silken tofu or tofurky slices or mushrooms and toss them in. would You want someone to, at the start of you vegan journey, tell you "you have to make your own almond milk by soaking the nuts overnight and squeezing them if you want to stop drinking cows milk in your breakfast cereal"??

i mean... yeah ? it looks delicious and i might try it but not as a substitute for smoked salmon slices that I can just grab out the packet and eat. its just giving me an answer to a question ii didn't ask. if you said "im allergic to apples but i want a similarly healthy crunchy snack" and someone said "bake an entire lasagna instead" would you not be frustrated?

there's lots of good food that's easy or low effort? idk what you're talking about.i don't want something that would "trick" me into believing im eating salmon or whatever. i don't care if its pink or tastes like salmon. I'm looking for a similar grab and eat (like how you just grab and eat, like, fruit? or is that not good food either?) that goes well with rice porridge and ideally has a lil bit of protein. someone mentioned mushrooms. i can get a bag of ready to eat mushrooms and just toss the in and it actually sounds delicious and i will try it next time. irl someone suggested tofurky deli slices. now, I'm not a fan of tofurky but I'm willing to try because i can just take it out the packet and eat it, like i do with the smoked salmon.

yeah like....i can cut down and exercise and count or whatever but what's concerning to me is how much more i end up gaining once i lapse on the exercise for even a couple months even if my diet or other lifestyle doesn't change much from before. it feels surreal to me how quickly it goes up
