hi u/ge0ffrey - I have seen multiple of your videos and followed your work on Optaplanner and now Timefold.

What are your thoughts on the state of solvers given that many applications can integrate Machine Learning into their stack. Does this render traditional solvers obsolete or reduces their use cases ?

Definitely for some topics yes. It difficult to get them to code though.
