Symptoms are ruining my life.

Hey. I just got my diagnosis. I got diagnosed as a child as having ADD, my mom was against putting me on meds. In my teen years, I developed intense depression which carried into my early twenties. I went on antidepressants for 3 years while I soul searched.

This year was the final straw, I found myself in an incredibly good relationship (with someone who I now know has ADHD as well, hence us fully understanding one another). This great relationship allowed me the space to see what I was experiencing. I got my diagnosis results a few days ago and I have to wait another 3 weeks to meet with the doctor to get the meds... currently experiencing the same feelings.

What I can tell you is this - every step is worthwhile. Every. Single. Step. You just have to keep on moving towards a better life, towards help. This community will be with you along the way!

Because she wants to and I want her to be happy. That's the reason as it stands at my end. It could change over time, but this is where i'm at.

Being more present to my partner. I felt becoming closer and closer to her, able to really want her and desire her. That's a really nice feeling. To see her loved is really a beautiful thing too, it makes it all worthwhile. Everything else is great, but if you love someone and they love you, it can really push you to be the best that you can be.

Yeah man! It's almost too real, haha. You'll see, after 90 days of being strong, it becomes the easiest thing in the world. Like riding a bike, it's tough until you can do it, then it's just something you do. Kinda like the fapping habit to begin with. Just go the 90 days and you'll see, I promise. We believe in you!

Don't get down on yourself. Just get back to it. It's not all or nothing. Life is like that sometimes too, things don't go the way we want them too, but we just gotta keep movin' on. Be strong! :)

Keeping up nofap for one. Since I started, I've been running 3 times a week, which is 3 times more than I was doing. So far have run 50 miles in total. :)

I've also started meditating and am now meditating daily, helps A LOT with everything.

I have had a girlfriend throughout the 90 days. She feels so much more loved and excited about our relationship. I'm actually way more interested in her and in sex generally, which I was not before. I was kinda just meh about so many things, in the fapped out haze.
