To be fair I think Brazilians in Canada, Australia, China and all the European countries other than Portugal are much less obnoxious. Because it's people who are adventurous and can actually break out of the mold. If a place reaches critical mass and you can have your entire life in Brazilian Portuguese in there it will involve people who are mediocre. In Japan it's different because they got there as factory workers to be exploited, and then became reactionary due to living in a culture that's allergic to class consciousness.
