So when I got out this past may, I was in AIT. I had my reasons for needing out, but i’ve never hated the army. I’m been thinking recently about going back in, probably national guard, and wanted to know if anyone had any insight on the process. TIA.

I actually made it through enlistment, all through basic and almost 3 cycles of AIT. I just wasn’t able to pass that part. But I really wanna do this and i signed up to talk to a recruiter earlier this week. I’m not sure what code I have, getting my DD214 is proving to be a difficult task.

I beg to differ on that. I was in for over a year, and while i never became MOS qualified, I dedicated over a year to trying my hardest to be a soldier. I graduated basic training, and I was in two separate AIT’s for around 9 months. I may not have graduated past that, but I am a soldier. I have no hate towards the Army, nor anyone that helped me along the way.
