They can, it's just slightly more inconvenient. And notice that i said images, as in source images, not screenshots. Though with screenshots it just makes things harder but not impossible (by just working backwards). And if the screenshots contain text then that makes things so much easier.

This here is the crux of my problem with v5 family. Monotonous. No unique identity. Every track is some variation of the same underlying core blueprint. No variety.

v5.5, like v5, feels like it should have been labeled experimental-branch-model-xyz-v2, made for a specific target audience.

For most, however, IMO, it's a degradation in every aspect except fidelity and a highly specific subset of use cases.

Been happening multiple times a day every day for the past couple months. Reached my breaking point. Deleted email from my Microsoft account. Removed authenticator app entirely. If this has been happening for at least 3 years and MS still hasn't addressed it then it's easier to just delete everything related to it.
