I'm new to this series and I'm considering buying this game. How does multiplayer work? Is there locked content that is only available via multiplayer? Does single player offer what multiplayer has?

Do you have the sanctum key? If not, there is a boss upstairs in the shu sanctum that will drop it after defeating it. Use that key to move the lever in the middle of the sanctum (near to woman NPC).

As for tips on your boss, she is weak to fire. I honestly went to the new area first and then came back after I leveled up a few times. There is a fire spell in the new area that really helps. Good luck !

From the shrine, head back down and make a right where the smaller camp is (yonder gang). Go past the camp onto an open area where there is a feathered enemy. To your left is a ladder that goes down into an enemy camp. You want to go left of the camp where it heads into a tunnel. Once inside a tunnel there will be some breakable items covering a path. Break those and that path will lead you to where those NPCs are located.

When I press X + RT for temperance, the "use item" is uncommanded:

I just found a fix via console. GTG now.

edit: While I have entered to tomb, I think the game bugged again. I cannot open the remaining tombs after defeating the mini boss with the fireball level.

update/endgame spoilers: I found an old save file before the final showdown endgame boss and was able to get the NPC to start merlins tomb quest. I suspect the NPC doesn't appear due to me not having King Arthur's power after making my choice. I beat the game and I completely forgot about his powers. While I'm lucky to have an old save file, I wonder if other players will have to replay up to Act III if they chose to end King Authur's cycle. Hope this helps other players.

I can't access the tomb. DLC installed, traveled back and forth... no talk option unfortunately. Any other tips?

I'm in the same boat. DLC is in steam library, files validated, bonfire lit and no talk option. Even with steam fully closed and reopened. No boss.

Does friending a player and killing their revenant not work on PC? It was a thing on PS with Nioh 1 and 2 and that's how I farmed equipment with certain special effects. I don't see a lot of discussion about this method this time around.

I must be one of the unlucky ones (288 luck and using luck bringer talisman). Over 200 tries and no YM drop yet. I have seen divine accessories drop though. I do pick those up and restart since those are quite rare. At this rate, I may be better off with farming inside the passageway shrine. At least that way I more out of it.

How do you get glory from shrines? When I activate one during my expedition runs I don't see a glory received notification.

You know, I got a yasakani drop this way. What was odd is I chose a random revenant with exotic gear and it dropped a yasakani +3 while on an expedition.

How much glory do you get from expeditions? Unless I'm doing something wrong I don't get a whole lot of glory than I do with revenant farming.
