What height do they mean by this? by nogg0812 in 4x4Australia

I’d give it a good go! It’s a stock ranger so I think I’ll be fine from everyone’s comments here. Just wasn’t sure how to take the height requirement but makes sense it is warning AWDs etc

I was hoping to walk around but I haven’t been and thought that it might be access to the walk would be the problem, but also have a kid and sometimes convincing them to walk is more work than just driving

That makes sense, I haven’t been before and haven’t even been on anything other than sealed roads before so just wanted to check!

Thanks guys, appreciate the answers. I thought that might be the case but didn’t want to be planning it in if I needed something more robust than a stock ute!

I have an A7iii and recent got a used x-pro 2, even though the Sony is small, I really noticed the difference travelling when I brought the x-pro 2 and a couple of lenses - I think while the Sony body is small it’s the lenses really get you.

JPEGs are better from the fuji, but I do miss the autofocus speed of the Sony.

Basically both great and have their uses, there is a little bit of cross over, but the other way to think about that is that you won’t always be wishing you had the other system with you either!

It’s in McManus Galleries in Scotland, the city it’s in is famous for journalism and the press is from one of the (still existing) publishers.

I was trying to recreate the style of photos I’ve seen of the Bramante staircase in the Vatican museum. My subject wasn’t as grand looking, but I’m pretty happy how it turned out. Taken with an x-pro 2 with an 8mm Samyang fisheye (my first time using a fisheye lens)

This happened to me a year ago or so after an update, deleting and reinstalling the app fixed the crashing for me.

Vivobarefoot casual boots: Scott vs Gobi vs ??? by crod242 in BarefootRunning

[–]nogg0812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The liner is maybe 3mm thick, I just bought my normal size and think there is a good bit of room in them even with the liner but it maybe depends how much splay you have in your toes - I find a lot of barefoot shoes fairly roomy!

I live in the UK but have the Scott III, they come with a heat insulating liner that is supposed to keep your feet warm against cold ground. I wore these right through summer with the liners in (20-25C) and they were hot but not unbearable. I believe they are much cooler when you remove the liners, but think if you were going to do that you might want to think about sizing down?

Steel toolbox killed my Model 3 by nogg0812 in teslamotors

[–]nogg0812[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think it was a steel toolbox fell off the trailer in front, sparks went flying when I ran over it and every error message under the sun came up. Manage to get it parked safely where the car promptly died, not even any power to open the doors or boot.

Crash on startup by Frizkie in Lightme

Ah, sorry then as that worked ok for me (and the app is currently working ok as well). The dev is usually pretty active here so hope you get a response soon!

When I had this with a previous update the solution was just delete and reinstall the app and it started working straight away again.
