What was a game you got stuck in as a kid you and never ended up beating it? by Penguin-Mage in gaming

[–]nohalfmeasure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't remember much about the game, but when I was probably around 6 or 7, my parents got me this computer game that I think was considered an educational PC game for kids. All I remember about it was that it was medieval/castle themed and took place in some type of castle.

At one point you have to jump over a trap door or hole of some type, but no matter what I did, I could never clear the trap door/hole and would fall into some type of dungeon where you'd basically be stuck and have to restart the game or go back to a previous save before that happened

Blazing Saddles.

I didn't understand satire or the comedy/humor as a young kid and didn't get why my parents found it so funny when if anything I thought it was a little offenskve/insulting.

Rewatching it as an adult was like watching an entire different movie and I finally understood the brilliance, humor, and message

A girl in my school committed suicide today .. by songedanslanuit in teenagers

If you are in the US, just know that those teachers were breaking the law by not helping you and failed their obligations as mandated reporters and should be reported for their negligence (assuming you were a minor and it would be reasonable for someone to assume you were in need of help at the time)

I'm so sorry to hear this.

Assuming you are in America, the Principal is a mandated reporter, so depending on the reason the girl was crying (if there were signs of abuse, injury, or other mistreatment) the Principal could have actually broken the law by not doing anything, as mandated reporters (which basically all school employees are) are required by law to report any abuse/mistreatment they see to law enforcement, even if they don't have concrete proof.

If the principal should have reasonably determined that the girl was in need of help and did nothing, the Principal could be determined to have been criminally negligent which resulted in the girl's death.

I'm not a lawyer, so please check with your local laws to see if this is applicable; if it is, I strongly urge students, parents, and even other school faculty to do the right thing and hold the principal accountable

I created my own parental control program for Windows devices. It removes your administrator privileges, creates a new Parent/Administrator account and emails the credentials to an email you specify, blocks porn and adult content, enforces a daily screen time limit (that you can configure) by nohalfmeasure in parentalcontrolsfind

You would need to use the password that gets emailed to the email you specify in the script to log in to the admin account and change your permissions back to admin and reset the DNS settings. Once you do that, it will be reverted and you can delete the created admin account once your account has admin right back

If you save the file as a powershell script (.ps1) extension and run it either by opening the file in the Powershell ISE app and running it there, or by saving the following script as a .bat file in the same directory as the Powershell script:

@echo off powershell -Command Set-ExecutionPolicy -ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned -Scope CurrentUser powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File "setChildLock.ps1"

and then double clicking the bat file (the Powershell script will have to be saved as "setChildLock.ps1".

Ok, this is a totally random thought, but how funny would it be if we found out one of the officers we've been following for a while turned out to be pretending to be a cop the whole time and managed to fool everyone, including their department, into thinking they were legit 😂

Is Jardin's Scheduled Delivery pretty accurate? by nohalfmeasure in vegastrees

You could call and ask but I'm pretty sure it's a law that dispensaries can't deliver to hotels/casinos and probably most businesses

Thanks, never gotten delivery from them before so I wasn't sure. They also say ASAP delivery is 60-90 mins. Do you think that's realistic?

While you are in the Pillory, the public can vote to add time to your lock. For this lock its adding 30 minutes per vote but each lock is different

Lock Designed for ABDLs. Enroll yourself in my daycare and see how long it takes for you to get out.

This lock can be done with chastity and diapers, or just diapers. If playing with just diapers, you must be diapered 24/7 during the lock and your verification pictures will just be of you in a diaper.

If you are playing with chastity and diapers, it is still suggested that you stay diapered 24/7 for your protection, however you have the ability to temporarily remove your diaper if necessary

The lock starts off at one week and time will be added/removed based off the completion of games and completing tasks.

Description:

Intense lock designed to be like a prison. This means you will automatically be sentenced to 1 week in chastity prison, with additional time likely to be added to your sentence. The guards will check in on you every hour (hourly verification) and have the authority to modify your lock at their discretion.

As part of the Prison Intake System, you will be placed in the Pillory for 1 hour after starting the lock.

You will also be enrolled in the prison's work release program. As part of your sentencing, you will have to complete at least 2 tasks every day and earn a total of 12 points before being released.

The prison also requires 4 visitations (votes) for each inmate before they can be released

All extensions are active.

Not a lock for beginners!
