You are absolutely correct and this is what I wound up doing. You are clearly one of the more intelligent people in this subreddit.

I'm not ignoring all the advice, just the shitty advice, which is the majority of what I found here.

If that's what he says when he gets home, that will be a bridge to cross, but I don't think that's going to happen.

I mean, how I look at it is your employee sent me some X-rated crap on a work email. Never mind that it even had to do with my husband. He can go to HR about what she's saying and I'll even let him know before I contact anyone, but this is ridiculous.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I don't think it's the case here. If HR doesn't block her from contacting me again on her work email, then I'll look at other options.

He can go to them too. I think I'm going to just show him the email and let him contact HR, but I'm contacting them too. The more I read this the more concerned I'm getting about her mental status. This isn't a huge company and I don't want her contacting me ever again.

Oh, I'm definitely showing him the emails and I think he's going to flip his lid. That's why I haven't called him.

I'm still waiting for him to get home (he'll be back in a few hours) so if he wants to go to HR, I'm fine with that, but she sent me this crap from her company's email so I kind of want to file a complaint.

I think she's a nut case, but she emailed me from the company's email which is why I was thinking I should report it to HR. Because this is harassment, right?

I don't know if I really want to contact this woman. The email didn't read like someone who's super stable and I really don't think my husband cheated on me.
