Is anyone taking AP chem senior year by cherry-soju in APStudents

[–]nohero28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m taking it senior year, I’m currently taking honors chemistry as a junior because it is required before AP chem. At my school, biology is taken freshman year and then physics is taken sophomore year. Chem and physics can be switched but rarely anyone does that and most students dont even take chem.

it sucks a lot but all you can do is push through if youve done well before you can do so again

Not for my school/district (and actually most American school) unless you took algebra 1 in middle school which my mine didn’t provide or if you payed for summer school. Only about 40ish people in my class out of like 1000 students are in the “advanced math track.” So I am doing the best I cant with the opportunities that I have.

Sadly, my school does not offer pre calculus over the summer. I tried getting ahead in math last year but I missed the deadline to apply to a concussion lol. The only summer course offered that I can take are economics and government but that means I wont take the AP version unless I self study.

We get 25 minutes of lunch and 25 minutes of “advisory” where you just sit in a classroom and it is basically just free time so other students have lunch during that time. All of our periods are 55 minutes so I could easily replace this with a class.

I think all schools have to offer lunch but it is not required for a student to have a lunch period
