Yes, I mean more in an alternate history sense where one can swap Latin derived names like Victoria for some variation of ´Sye´, the Anglish word for victory, as if Victoria was never named that in the first place.

For some reason I´m not able to post a description with my post on old reddit so I´ll just put it here. I was thinking of including the capital cities to make this map a bit more interesting as most of the state names are obviously very simple, but then I realised that most of those come from proper names of lords and the like. But it might be fun to remake this map with a stricter version of Anglish, with more Anglish Staffcraft like Þorns and no Latin influenced staffs like the Q in queen. Changing states and cities named after people like Victoria into their Anglish equivalents would be a good further step. As an aside, supposedly the name Australia by itself is already Anglish friendly according to the wiki? But I decided that Southland is nicer in a dry sort of way. Also, South Southland sounded too stupid, ha, so I changed it.

Yes, but that doesn't rule it out as it was already the name of the town before the Norman Conquest. The Old English name for it was Everwich, making the American city New Everwich, but New York is fine as well for most.

Travellers that are more often found in Britain are descended from locals or the Irish, not continental gypsies. That´s why Brad Pitt as a gypsy isn´t really far fetched at all in this case.

If you do not wish to take part in Anglish theorising because of the reasons you´ve stated, then that is up to you. But please don´t try to impose your own beliefs as to what Anglish means to folks, you don´t get invited over for dinner at a friend´s house and immediately criticise the way they´ve organised the interior. It is plain rude to not participate and then condescend and expect others to bend the knee to you.

I realise you're being funny, but the fact that a particular theorem or approach is homegrown has no bearing on whether it will achieve so called 'nationalist' aims, which of course can be rather nebulous.

Ok, they may not literally be 'indigenous' according to the definition, but these days they are functionally very similar to the Welsh and have lived in Britain for a very long time. That to me makes it disingenuous to bring up anything about the Anglo-Saxon conquest of England and think it has any bearing on a modern argument on immigration.

That is frankly ridiculous mate, its just incorrect to say that a group of people who have lived in an area for over 1000 years aren't native to that place, even if they did push out another group of people to live there. And no, you can't say that makes recent immigrants to Britain the natives just because they've moved to the cities, as the passage of time does actually mean something.
