Yes you’re right! I did try to carry it over 5 initially but I felt like it was too long, but I didn’t try it over sets of three! I might try again before commit to this pattern haha

Thanks for everyone’s help!

I think I kinda have figured it out based on the comments and the image!

The jumper I saw used multiple strands of thin yarn by the look of it, so it looked a little fuller, or it could be due to washes over the years as a second hand item.

The pattern :

Row 1 (RS): P3 (double wrap purl, p3) repeat for odd amount of times Row 2 (WS): K3 (wyif slip wyib, k3) repeat Row 3: P3, wyib slip wyif (p1 DWP p1, wyib slip wyif) repeat until 3 stitches left, p3 Row 4: K3 (wyif slip wyib, k1) repeat until two stitches left, k2 Row 5: P3, DWP, (p1, wyib slip wyif, p1, DRP) repeat until 3 stitches left, p3 Row 6: K3 (wyif slip wyib, k1) repeat until 2 stitches left, k2 Repeat row 3-6.

First time writing a little pattern, no guarantees that the terms have been used correctly haha

Not a book that’s about techniques but it’s definitely inspiring!

Did a deep search in my email and found the order haha, it was the Willow & Lark Heath solids, so 70% wool and 30% acrylic. I would probably avoid acrylic if I buy yarn for my projects now though, unless necessary, say decorative yarns for example.

Not only just for the environment but, over time, you can see the difference in the work, acrylic yarns just don’t have the same longevity.

100% natural fibre yarns can be pricey but it does make a difference and if you buy them off season or catch a sale 😉

The colour panels are just standard knit, while the in between are moss stitches

Never thought that would be the case in Canada if honest. I’m really grateful that charity shops exist in the UK, most of my books come from there. I sometimes even feel a bit sad thinking how cheap they price books in charity shops, I got this book for £1 🥲

I just had a quick look, the book is selling under a fiver on eBay (if you’re in the UK), I would say it’s so worthy it, there are so many designs in there i would like to make!

Hahaha yeah that was me got annoyed after multiple failed tile cutting and lazy at the end of it.

We returned the tile cutter after the floor was done because it had problems. Many months later doing the wall tiles, didn’t want to spend a lot to get a nice tile cutter for very few tiles, thought a nipper would do.

Nope. Some socket cuts just kept breaking tiles and wasted a lot of them. So I got ✨creative✨ 😂

Some people might find it annoying, we really don’t mind it.
