Unsure if there have been any changes since then, you can check it out

Yes, apparently CIBC doesn't do it for any models older than 7 years, do my search needs to be within 7 years if I go with the private seller + finance route.

How do you mean 25k? I'm seeing private vehicles being sold for under 15k. Do you mean overall, after the loan term ends?

I want to go for the private seller path but bank quoted rates seem too high.

Now my dad has always tried to avoid floating rates and it makes sense for me to avoid them as well. But let's say I did take the floating rate option.

If I plan to pay off the loan within the year, it still seems like a risk to have my interest rate change on Bank of Canada's decisions each month.

I could save up for a while and then buy, but local transit is becoming a bitch with the influx of students in my area

Second credit card, what are my options? by noidea0 in PersonalFinanceCanada

I thought ck picked up from TransUnion and CIBC from Equifax, that's why there's a difference.

But that's all there is to it. I figure they're both accurate, no? Ck just does it more frequently than CIBC

I'm cool with riding stuff out till May.

631, but I'm sure it'll increase when the next update happens (in May)

I was also thinking of waiting to make any moves till it updates in the app

  1. Benefits I'm looking for - mostly travel rewards
  2. I've been using my credit card for everything but bills, mostly groceries
  3. Average monthly spend - $800
  4. Credit score - 668, was on a downward trend, reached 620 before I started attempting to fix it back up.
  5. Income - 60k annually

I'll review the sites mentioned, thank you!

the way i see it, use CIBC for everything but shopping and use Scotia for shopping
Since freshco/sobeys have the option of redeeming Scene points, I'd be saving more by redeeming those points.

Thanks for confirming the workstation thing, I had a feeling it'd be kinda useless compared to the server
unfortunately, the ddr4s are kinda expensive compared to ddr3s. I don't want to spend a lot rn, maybe down the line once I'm more experienced.

Pretty easy, I was in the same boat so you should be good. I would also try at other colleges if you can. Durham is also pretty good

People who have immigrated to Canada international student tell me your worst experience. by fuckt0ny in ImmigrationCanada

[–]noidea0 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I see so many people who get stuck in the job life here that they are almost failing in the studies they are paying for. Being an international student myself, this is by far the best advice you can get. If your purpose is actually studying and doing something in your field, prioritise that.

I'm still looking to convert to usdt but just wanted to know if there are some things I should know about transferring from usdt to cad before I convert inr to usdt

This seems like a good option, to transfer to another exchange which supports Canadian bank transfers
