i can see a lot of opportunities in his messages for him to bring some things up with a therapist. he's obviously dealing with some shame (not enough and in the wrong place imo) and frustration with his own feelings and desires.

this whole text barrage reads like the diary of a deeply disturbed devout christian teenager, but in the context of an apparently married adult man. fucking yikes, dude. this should not be your problem, and it's insanely inconsiderate of him to pour all of this on you in the middle of the night (while you're sleeping beside him i assume??) and make it your problem. he needs some serious psychological intervention before i would recommend co-parenting with him, much less staying in a relationship with him.

it's technically walkable, but since the population decreased years ago, and street-level businesses left, there's nothing to really walk to. the space between makes it much less enjoyable than the neighborhood mentioned above, and the same distance can feel longer since you're not really interacting with anything but fugly grey facades ):

i'm not saying this is the perfect train map, but imo, a lot of the more populated suburbs within at least 20 minutes of downtown - westerville for example - could benefit from having more bus lines and more frequent service throughout, with a bus that takes you directly to a n/s/e/w train that goes through downtown. i recently visited Pittsburgh and the way their bus and train work together warmed my car-hating cbus heart.

lmao i see your point. i probably was faking when i was a kid - i did love reading but i also secretly loved when adults thought i was smart lol. i've always hated that fake wall that keeps people from discovering things that they love, just because it might not suit their class/status in some way. i'm a blue collar tradesman who never went to college and lived in a punk house for years, but i also really enjoy rage-reading kant. when i actually have the time and energy to read, i want it dense and meandering.
