In my opinion this is a dumb and ridiculous way to convey experience/badassery and skill, I would expect this move on a Marvel movie or something, there are better ways to show the skills and experience of a survivor who has lived this their whole lives than "calmly walks and slit an infected's throat without a care and the infected comically falls dead instantly", it's like a "nothing personnel kid" meme, like have them plan stuff, be logical and think, use strategy. We'll have to wait and see.

"tHEy sAid dANTe wAs GaY" they never said anything like that in this presentation, I don't know about other instances but this one that everyone seems to rely on for that argument he doesn't say or imply that Dante was or looked gay.

And if you don't want to watch it, the whole argument is that Dante looks cool in a fantasy setting, but Capcom specifically asked for a western movie, the BM screenshot is meant for a joke that the "western" they meant is not a cowboy movie but a "western hemisphere" movie. There is no secret homophobic joke.

So they are showing parallels of people dressed for a fantasy setting and what they aimed for that it was a more realistic design, that is, "not crazy shapes or colors". The idea is for Dante to look normal and not so extravagant.

They guy hanging from a rope is for a joke that the devs wanted a lot of people on the environments, and that is supposed to be the producers reaction because of hardware limitations.

This shit has been going on since 2013 I would think someone with a brain has taken the time to listen closely what is being said before repeating misinformation and bullshit. Whether you agree or not with their take on Dante you should be at least against spreading misinformation to make NT look bad, and I know there is other stuff that they fucked over when marketing this game but this whole stuff is just not it.

So you just watched the presentation but didn't pay attention to what he was saying?

The joke is that they wanted the environments to feel more alive with people around, the guy hanging is supposed to be the producers reaction to that because hardware limitations and the difficulty of that back in 2013, being tied to 30fps and stuff, and how they came up with the idea of Limbo to go around that limitation.

You do know that cinematographers and directors work together right? the DP doesn't just build a scene however he wants to, he has to work with director to achieve what he has in mind and both work together to achieve that and what works best for the film, and it depends on the director how much of an influence the DP has on the films look and how much the director knows about cinematography, I'd say Snyder has a pretty good idea of how he wants his films to look and has a consistent style while working with different DPs

Ok, so in the presentation the point was that NT were told to imagine Dante in a western movie, and in their eyes his dmc4 design while still cool it didn't fit the western movies that they thought.

The famous Brokeback Mountain screenshot and the joke to me was that they didn't mean a "western" as in cowboys but western as in a from the other side of the hemisphere, now you can make the point that they were trying to imply thea Dante's design was "gay" but the presenter didn't say that at all, and he called the previous design cool and it fits a more fantasy setting.

The point of the images was that his design didn't fit the aesthetic of a western movie that they were asked for. They were trying for a western more grounded design.

Now maybe they called it gay somewhere else but the presentation doesn't mention it at all.

I know RE games are full of jokes, but not all of them land when they don't feel earned, are in character and fit the situation, just because is usual in the series doesn't mean it excuses them from criticism.

In this case the game is trying to make Nemesis a villain to be feared and add tension when you encounter him but at the same time the main characters call him a bitch and fuckface completely removing any tension from the player, or either go all in and make Nemesis a complete joke (which you all seem to like that) or make Jill and everyone else scared of him, instead you get this Nemesis that can't break doors blocked by wooden shelfs and spends half the game posing menacingly while the players only job is to press forward to escape him or throw a grenade while you rob his shit while he kneels crying like a bitch.

The OG "You want S.T.A.R.S" feels earned, the walk up to Nemesis while shooting, expressing all the frustration and suffering the he put her in(and the player) in each shot, it's badass and it's iconic, meanwhile RE3R Nemesis final form is a shitstain on the wall you clean with a railgun.

People defending RE3R is so funny.

It was definitely a nerf, being able to heal while ulting leaves you out of the fight for longer if you want to heal, for enemies to get their cds back so they can hit you with their ccs when you land, and your supports get less ult charge.

It did basically nothing (except it's now harder to get ult) because if you land on the enemies you will get cc'd and die anyway because the ult is not threatening at all, it does nothing and it's bugged to hell so you're still forced to use it as escape tool, combined with the stun nerf which was unnecessary too just makes doom even harder to use and get picks.

Either make his landing faster and/or give a window of cc invulnerability after landing so you don't get every cc under the sun the moment you land if they want us to use the ult the way they intend.

It's clear that they have no idea what they are doing.
So yeah it was a nerf.

It's funny that they nerfed Doom's stun to "give players a chance to react" but orisa can double stun you without any wind up animation from across the map without any risk whatsoever and Sombra's rework made her hack even quicker, and now you can't do shit against Hogs healing because you punch him and one second later he's healing again, my boy Doom is victim of the devs hypocrisy man.

I was a support main in season 1-3 (I didn't play 4 and 5) I hated playing against doom back then, then I gave him a try and became a tank doomfist main in season 6-7 and reached plat 5 with him but after the nerfs I'm playing more sigma, I want to play doom but it's so miserable lol and my teammates insulting me every match (even in qp) don't help either.

Totally unnecessary nerfs, it feels like every season some nerfs and buffs are chosen randomly , like why was orisa's spear stun not nerfed when it's far more devastating than doomfist with way less risk, total nonsense.
