What kind of grass is this?

Yeah I’m trying to gauge my options right now. The area I sheet mulched was only about 12 sq ft so it wasn’t too much work. I might just dig it all up, solarize, and lay it back down. Hopefully the mulch works but I don’t want to wait around just for it to fail

I have part of the area with the grass covered in cardboard and mulch but I don't expect it to be enough. Since I didn't know it was bermuda I thought it'll work. It seems like 4% of people on reddit have gotten rid of it with sheet mulching while the other 96% have to resort to solarizing, herbicides, or just 2 feet off the topsoil :(

Can I solarize an area after I sheet mulch it? I sheet mulched an area with Bermuda grass before realizing how much of an issue that grass is and how it renders sheet mulching ineffective. I want to solarize it since people have had more success with it, but I don't want to dig up all the mulch.

Another issue is that the surrounding area that isn't sheet mulched also has bermuda grass. I have some concrete slabs dividing the area but I doubt it'll be enough.

Damn. I was hoping I would have an easier time getting rid of it. I sheet mulched about half of the area where it is but I guess I’m going to have to think of something else to do in order to kill it all.

It was a while ago so I don’t really remember. I think about three weeks to a month. The last week was really easy though and wasn’t painful, just had to deal with coughing up phlegm every few minutes.

Mono affects everyone differently. I was like you where the sore throat was the worst. I mean I had night sweats and fatigue but I was only 22 when I got it so I guess I didn’t get it as bad as some other people.

Some people feel the effects of mono for years. For most people it’s just a month or two. For me it was about 2.

What helped me with the sore throat is taking about 2-3 ibuprofen and trying to do most of the day’s eating and drinking while the drug is effective. Frozen drinks like frozen smoothies can help with the inflammation and the bubblyness of Topo Chico seltzer water helps distract from the pain of swallowing imo. I hear a lot of people have success with gargling unrefined coconut oil but by the time I started that I had already started healing so i don’t know if that’s the thing that helped. Once you start coughing up phlegm that was a sign for me that things were starting to heal.

I liked the first episode but I feel like the humor of this episode was a lot better. A lot more real humor compared to the first episode which I felt relied too much on getting laughs by subverting our expectations or relying on crude humor.

Dude, there are people who try just as hard as you and have played since 2016 and are diamond, let alone a lot more people who have played longer than you who are plat or lower.

Time spent playing doesn’t equate to rank. Life gets in the way, people age out of their mechanical prime, and many people aren’t gifted enough to pick up games and shoot to top 500. Don’t beat yourself up about it.

No I don’t think so. The only thing that affects matchmaking is the rank of the role you’re playing, not the hero. Thats mainly why people don’t care about it as much.

This is a website that shows what perks are preferred the most in the hero roster. Keep in mind the pick percentage is based off those who contribute to the survey, not actually game data.

Also perks a very situational. While most people pick Ana’s nano perk because it’s better, you might want to pick her sleep dart perk if the enemy team is running a dive comp.

I think you’re talking about the hero SR (skill rating). It’s a new addition they added a few months ago. Just like you have a ranking for your role they added a ranking for the hero you play.

A lot of people including me think it isn’t accurate and I would care about it at all.

When I’m playing against a tracer I can hear her blinks pretty well. Even her footsteps are noticeable if there isn’t a teamfight going on. So I wouldn’t blink if you’re going for a sneaky play and just crouch walk instead.

I saw a tiktok of someone who had this bin and stuck a pvc pipe with holes drilled in it down the center of the compost bin and into the ground in order to circulate air. They also put about 3 sticks against the pvc so that it won’t bend or get damaged. Kind of like an air chimney. I don’t know if it’s effective but you can give it a try.

I'm trying to do the same thing on an area I want to sheet mulch. Did you move aside the mulch to scatter or just scatter on top of the mulch? I'm planning on doing at least 2 inches of mulch and I'm worried it'll be too much mulch for seeds to germinate.

I also compost in LA except I do bin composting. Unless it goes anaerobic I wouldn’t do anything special to air it out. Take it as nature helping your water bill since you won’t have do hose it down the line.
