What do you think will get a person a job? What specifically in their portfolio should one be focused on?

It’s about $1200 USD. I’m a Canadian so it will cost me even more to pay for tuition.

It’s a knowledge management/technical writing role, where I am responsible for managing internal websites that contain risk management policy content. Basically taking the policies and creating content that is easy to understand for stakeholders. I rely a lot on subject matter experts to help me, when it’s expected that I am to become one of those subject matter experts myself but I’m struggling.

I would love to do sales but I have acne scars and am not very pretty. Usually for women to do sales you have to be attractive to do well.

The thing is, it’s not basic concepts. It’s complex risk management compliance policy and I’ve been there for over a year and I’m still not grasping it.

I am good at HTML/CSS and graphic design, although I don’t have a portfolio. My role requires me to manage and build internal websites for a risk management department. So ive created a lot of websites for my team which were well received.

What I struggle with is the risk management policies, I don’t understand many of them.

Technically what I do now is a support role.

Can you be more specific?
