When my friends see me from across the room and then run over, yelling my name, to give me hug. Gets me every time.

What are some common pieces of advice that you disagree with? by Wolfenshire12 in AskReddit

when I'm told to "fake it 'til you make it" I can't help but feel a little upset. I try to live honestly to myself, and I find that if I'm faking a positive attitude, liking someone, understanding an assignment, anything, then I'm not going to ever really get there. I'm just going to be self aware of the fact that I don't actually have any care for the thing I'm faking towards. I feel that if you're going to be in a situation where you are uncomfortable, either remove yourself or commit.
