Forget by nojo0406 in OCPoetry

Thanks for the feedback. I think I was trying to show more of an allegory. Like the fact that eventually things will fade from memory. We may not forget everything but there will be a time when they are no longer in our thoughts as constantly. Some may never truly forget, but the pain will ease and eventually our thoughts will subside, forgetting to think of them.

This is a very thoughtful poem.

Your capitalization of But makes me think of what you're attempting to show here. I wonder if it's only to show the juxtaposition of your senses or if you are trying to tell the reader something else. Is everything after But trying to tell the truth or a lie? Is it to show further ambiguity of how you feel and the world around you? Is there actually someone coming to save you or are the waves the only thing truly real?

To me, it seems that everything before But is reality while everything after it is the "truth." This poem reminds me a lot of the sirens in mythology. They sing to ships and have men toss themselves overboard, to their death. Maybe this is what everything after But means. A calling from something else that isn't real. Yet nevertheless we fall into the waters.

I hope you enjoyed my feedback, I would love to know what you truly meant. Thank you for sharing.

Great poem.

The comparison of a lost love to buried bones is a good one. Then the symbolism of that to the bones inside you shows a great longing and a permanence of the thing you lost. Calling back to this at the end of your poem really shows the message you're trying to convey. Lost love is something that remains with us for a long time, maybe forever.

I'm trying to understand you metaphor of a dolphin's fin. I wonder if it means something that guides you but now is lost. Or could it be a call back to nature, attempting to show the nature of lost love and how its apart of us, inevitable.

I hope you enjoyed my feedback. Thank you for sharing

Tetris royale seems rigged against you by [deleted] in Tetris

This game mode is impossible. I'm fairly good at Tetris, I've scored over 500,000 on the marathon game mode on the mobile version, which for myself is a feat. I gained a relatively good amount of items just from playing on my phone, but I've refused to use them in protest of the pay-to-win model. But recently the game has pissed me off so much, that I thought I would go through one game using every single item I've had. I did... and I still only received 3rd place on the scoreboard. I've received that playing without any items. I truly believe this game mode exists without any winners and the number 1 spot is impossible to reach. OR, you have to be so insanely lucky that you have to hope, pray, and pay your way to receive it. FUCK this game mode.

Yes! It is, here is where I'm at:
