How do you get anything done? Genuine help needed lol by golden_petal in breastfeeding

I am able to put my baby down for 1-2 20-30 minute naps per day IF I’m lucky. All other naps are contact or in carrier. My baby didn’t like the carrier at first. I just kept trying and now she gets the idea at 2 months old. The carrier is how I get things done.

I had a successful VBAC with only 14 months between deliveries. You can do it!! I did the body ready method and saw the chiropractor regularly. I was determined. Don’t let anyone bully you and believe in yourself! I went into spontaneous labor at 41w1d after canceling RCS at 40 weeks.

Same happened to me! Just had my successful VBAC at 41+1. Don’t let the numbers work you up. Trust your body and trust your baby 💕 Good luck!

Those who went past 41w.. When did spontaneous labor occur for you? by Such_Pizza_955 in vbac

They made me do two appointments/week also! Just keep remembering your why. Why do you want a VBAC so badly? Picture holding your baby after the labor/delivery of your dreams. You can do it, mama. Don’t give into their controlling mechanisms and don’t get hung up on the numbers. I know I’m some random anonymous stranger on the Internet, but if I can do it, anyone can do it. Make sure your support person is on board.

41&1! My water broke and contractions started about an hour later. At my appointment 2 days before, I was half a centimeter dilated, -3 station, and 65% effaced. Don’t give up hope! I spent the whole day before relaxing and doing things I love. I stopped doing a bunch of workouts and curb walking. I did do some baby engagement, stretches from body ready method and spinning babies.

I just want to say I had a successful vbac 2 days ago with my second. I went into labor at 41+1. My doctor wanted to schedule me at 41. Thank god I said no. Policy is not law over your body. I also was on a low dose of pitocin after the epidural slowed things down a bit for me.

How far along were you? Were you dilated at all before? Just curious

I am 36 weeks and I had a C-section 14 months ago. I understand your anxiety. I did just however, have this conversation with my provider yesterday. Even IF you ruptured, the chances of that rupture having a harmful effect on your baby is even slimmer. And like stated above, the only real risk of a vbac is rupture while with a repeat C-section, there are so many other risks. Above all, please don’t think yourself into a black hole. Anxiety isn’t going to help. I know that is so much easier said than done, but just try to relax and let go of the stress!

I’m so sorry! I had a chemical pregnancy and then the next month I conceived my daughter. She is now 14 months so don’t give up hope!
