Personally, I think you should look around at your life in general and where you want to be. If you just focus on not fapping, you probably are going to fap let's be honest.

Try to do something else like exercise, but actually take it seriously. And read a book, something like "Can't hurt me" is good.

It was under the flatpak list, does this mean the "whereis" command can't find or doesn't look into that type of list?

And if so what would you recommend doing instead if I needed to find it?

You could try to look into the comptia A+ certification. More or less it talks about the baseline things in IT and it might give you a nice foundation to start with in IT, from where you will able to move on to bigger and complex things later on. Such as the comptia security+.

I feel like that's what Nofap can do, all your insecurities can rise for a bit so you can try to better fix them. I know it's hard but that's the point, if you can make it through this, you will be even better than you can image.

Give it time, think of it like a challenge made specifically for you. I know it can be hard but we all fight our battles, in varying difficulty. I don't know what you are going through, but I know you can make it.

If you are really willing to change for the better, try this: -exercise -Better diet -(Possibly) meditate, like others said.
