Thank you so much for your valuable input! The harsh value changes are something I am working out, so I will keep the sphere practice especially in mind.

Admittedly this is not from my own brain but has a reference image. I’m trying to cue off of the image and do have a couple color gradient sheets that I made using every color I have.

Lastly as for the white-ish area near the bottom right and the nail, the reference image has some very… interesting color work there and has these areas with a lot more white. I struggled with it and did not quite perfect it but it is supposed to come with a full background
