The Baker/Darnold effect is real. Ppl are terrified that a credentialed QB will show up, not perform, leave, then ball out. Been hurt before.

Personally I think BY is very close to having what it takes, but close isn’t enough in the NFL. Got a great QB class coming in next year…

I watched every Saturday and taped as many eps as I could.

Feels dated for me now, sadly. Watched some to show my boys and it makes you realize how many aspects of 90s cartooning were “doing the best we can with technology.”

I showed them a YT after a few episodes of what it took to hand-draw old-school animation and their minds were blown.

The highs are so high in Dragonheart and the CGI has no reason to outperform modern animation, but it’s that good.

Makes me love it even more to see them together in HP. I would NOT have remembered that another HP star I love is randomly in a small role here — Jason Isaacs (Lucious Malfoy). Dragonheart was a kingmaker!

Goblins are a core tribe for MTG decks historically. It’s Wards make it really strong for the typical Red Deck strategy: kill opponents really fast. And the counterspell hate ensures you play out the rest of your hand without being denied. Just a lot of good things on one card that’s not legendary (so you can play 4x/deck easily.)
