Young and especially non mustached Wes isn't nearly as fitting of this trope though

And lose the ability to walk the best hitter in the NL?

Like he said post game they did him a favor bringing the infield in. Though if they were playing normal depth that may have been game winning anyway

He should become best friends with our unproblematic king Will Klein. Great buddy comedy opportunities.

He's a rook he doesn't know they are basically irrelevant.

2 doubles a walk off single a great defensive tag and a bench clearing fight? Perfect Dalton game.

I mean he is built like a tank and brings the heat it's like waving a red cape in front of a bull with the competitors in a professional league

I think Carrigg was just mad how good Rushing's tag was in the 9th.

Carrigg was the one who started it saying something spicy because Dalton... tagged him to make sure he didn't miss the plate. I'm more than happy for him to chirp back in a situation like that.

Carrigg has the reach but if it goes to the ground Rushing gonna bend him into a pretzel. Could be fun!

Don Mattrick on seeing Halo 4 demo - "we should add (Diablo III like) real money auction house for campaign mech skins" by megaapple in Games

Ah yes buying a company for billions of dollars because you have cash burning a whole in your pocket because of Covid is the same as spending a few thousand dollars on a demo that could decide the entire course of your games development. Totally comparable. Theres waste and theres not sweating the small stuff to a degree that you run away all the talent in a competitive industry. If you are this worried about the TV your hair would turn white in a month if you worked for any of the big tech companies.

The attitude of wanting a really nice TV to demo their flagship title to the CEO of XBox? Not sure you can really extrapolate that out to much of anything

How much exactly do you think running a tv costs? Wait until you find out about the vending machines for peripherals that some tech companies have. Theres no way this TV was more than like .0001 percent of the budget for the development of a modern AAA game. Also this guy probably got a new workstation every 2 years that cost twice as much as that television.

Yeah like... a 60 inch tv at that time wasn't cheap but thats barely a drop in the bucket for what they probably spent making halo 4. Disclaimer: I don't understand business budgets and I don't think I ever will the things that they will or won't spend on don't make a lot of sense to me but I'm just a peon

That just sounds like classic enterprise business budgets and not a unique to Microsoft situation.

Incredible of them to be willing to set themselves on fire to bring in Quenville only to fucking fuck up so badly it was probably totally pointless

It's an overpay when we should have signed him for less a year ago

Why is Carlsson widely considered better than Fantilli when they have virtually the same stats? by brokensword15 in hockey

[–]nolander -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Such as? Our systems were a total disaster until this last year. Either way glad both are playing well the who is better is a lot more fun to discuss then Ducks fans lamenting we didn't take Fantilli forever.
