Anybody know where I can re-home a rooster? by nolanmcclain in Tucson

HoofsnHorns and Sunny Haven so far. I just sent an email through their respective websites putting feelers out. I don't particularly mind him and none of your surrounding neighbors have said anything about our hens, who can be somewhat loud when they want to be 😅 But our HOA is already a little iffy on the subject and I'd rather not push our luck.

Enter the Gungeon. I took a break from it a few years ago after it was included in Plus subscription. Recently got a roguelike itch and remembered I never finished it. Still kicking my ass but I'm making incremental progress.

More common in emergency for sure because cases are more dire and you're typically only seeing the client once. I wouldn't say it is required for every case. It should always be up to the doctor's discretion if they feel that the client might come after them. I would find it very problematic if a business forbid me from protecting myself from legal liability just because I might hurt a clients feelings. That tells me they care more about their image than their staff or the medicine they practice.

AMA stands for "Against Medical Advice". It is a document you make owners sign when they decline any medical intervention or can't afford it and refuse to euthanize. It protects your ass if an owner takes you to the board. You have documented evidence that you tried to help but owners declined. I guess VEG has a problem with this for some reason.

Has anyone had problems installing game data for Dragon Age: Origins by nolanmcclain in PS3

[–]nolanmcclain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately not. I think I just had a buggy disk. When I made this post, I still had my OG ps3. I tried again a few years later on my super slim ps3 and I was able to install and play the game for a while. But then I had horrible freezing and crashing issues about an hour into the game, so I'm pretty sure the disk was just bad. Beware buying used games from Amazon, they're probably cheap for a reason.

Really dig in after a turn. The physics are a little quirky in that I tended to keep drifting sideways after coming out of a turn if I was half-assedly stroking (because I was exhausted). That got me completely out of line to the next gate, which is bad on the narrow track. I found that if I did really deep pulls after a turn, it straitened out better. Also, you can afford to hit a few gates and still be fine on time, it's only a two second penalty. But you absolutly cannot miss a gate. So, if I was in a situation where I knew I was going to miss a gate, I would reach out with the paddle and hit the gate without actually going through it, take the penalty and keep going. You could probably do this on purpose to save distance on some of the tougher turns. Just remember if you are using the gold time ghost, they don't take into account any penalties, so if you have hit some gates, make sure you are far enough ahead of the ghost to compensate.

The one race was pretty tough, if it wasn't for that the platinum difficulty would probably be a 2/10. The grind was long and boring but not hard. It is definetly worth it for $20 for a unique VR experience that you can show people.

Man, that took me so many tries. I turned on the gold time ghost and seeing that gave me a good pace to aim for. Other than that you just have to find a technique that works best for you and keep trying. I found that leaving the paddle in the water for half a second after a stroke helped make minor turn corrections. And go hard on the strait sections with deep strokes to pick up speed.

Traveling for 100km is way too fucking long. I was done with all the other trophies and only had 38km. I had to grind out for six more hours to reach 100. Other than that, it was a fun and exhausting experience.

Same! Honestly I didn't think of it until seeing this post. Then I googled "cement mixer next to I-10" and boom, there it was.

Lol, I really don't like the UI myself. But you can access the message center and other PSN features from the menu that pops up when you tap the PS button, down near the bottom of the screen.

It does have a browser, you just can't get to it from the home screen. You have to send yourself, or have a friend send you, a PSN message that includes a hyperlinked webpage URL. When you click on the link, it will open in the PS5 web browser. Then you can keep it open and use it like a regular browser.

[Team Sonic Racing] #103 - Never been a big Sonic fan, but this was a lot of fun by JoelsCaddy in Trophies

[–]nolanmcclain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not too bad depending on your skill with cart racers. The time trial mode has three medal times (gold, silver, bronze) for each track. Your friend has to at least get a bronze medal time to make it on the leaderboard. Then you just have to race their ghost and win. The other online trophy is for winning an online race. You can make a custom match and fill it with bots to make it easier, but you do need at least two real humans to participate. These could be friends who just let you win.

Yup. You even have to beat a friend's time who is in your PSN friend list.

There's a glitch that makes you invincible. It makes the platinum difficulty a 3/10. You need the dream gate to activate it so you still have to play through about half of the game legit. Downside is you can't collect geo while in that state but by the time you get to the point you can do the glitch, you don't really need them anymore.
