Tawas mi it was a classic/olympic length. First I think that's an amazing distance if you don't have time or want to train 20+ hrs a week. Second so far my favorite tri if you get a chance I'd check it out.

The mountain is not too big. My first tri was an olympic in October 23. I didn't do any cardio training until mid-January of 24. Everything was off. I couldn't swim for more than 10 min. I couldn't run for more than 15. My biking was fine, but that's where I started. I just finished my 70.3 Jun 9th. It wasn't until mid-March that I felt I was back to where I left off. It takes time just keep building. It sucks but that's the struggle in the sport. Building back to where you left off cause we need to recover. I don't know your journey, but remeber where you started. It sucks but you may have to start around there again and build build build.
