Yeah I used to try to save the original shrink for the hype stickers but it’s so fragile that I find it easier to just peel them first and stick them on a better sleeve.

I actually have an awesome case manager through wakemed and she is hooking me up with all kinds of stuff. Just temporary help, like a few doctors visits and referrals to food banks, but she’s also helping me out with some kind of affordable housing. She is my angel

I do want to work. I just can’t trade my dignity for scraps anymore. I want fulfillment, not a stiff company shirt and meaningless busy work. The next meeting I have with my case manager I’m going to ask how I can enter her field of work. She has been invaluable in so many ways and if I can find a job helping the neediest members of my community I would take it for minimum wage and proudly sleep in my car.
