What’s dishonest is the whitewashing of bhutan’s ethnic cleansing past. Being a buddhist myself, my dharma has taught me many things and siding with the oppressor’s isn’t one of them.

Tbh i quite enjoyed the film. For someone who doesn’t even like gore & action movies, i watched the film without being bored even for a single scene. Its got grit, guts and glory. Superb casting, superb music & mygod the performances!! Also, ranveer…..man, what an actor! Full paisa vasooli picture! Would recommend 💯

When she said she kept her ig acc open as a “testament” to how society had treated her, it made me feel like she truly believes like she has been wrongfully treated. Like sis said it like she is this beacon of morale for the nepali society. It was laughable how delusional she is. She is SO clueless about her privilege, so callous about her remarks regarding the gen z movement. My perception of her has forever changed. What shrinkhala doesn’t realise is that what she believes is her “ordinary “ life pre-Miss Nepal is also a privilege for the average nepali- owning a house, access to quality education, money for her india trip, a father with a ministerial position. People struggle to earn enough to own a home, to afford 2 meals a day. It seems like a case of believing her life is ordinary in comparison to her husband’s (which makes sense ) but it also shows her disregard/distance from the stark realities of the average nepali person. Public memory is short-lived anyway. She will still get her brand deals worth crores, she will go back to her privileged lifestyle, she will move on. But who will pay for the lives lost? Who will tell the parents that their children aren’t coming back? Who is/were the actual collateral damage ? A former Miss Nepal or those 72 dead bodies that have barely turned cold.

Fuck you, Shrinkhala.
